The Green Mile

When I smell this fragrance, I immediately think of a botanical garden in late spring.
And I stroll past exotic trees and shrubs, some blooming and fragrant. Others impress with their leaves, which, when touched and lightly rubbed, also release their herbaceous-green, spicy scent. Quite a few grow outdoors in protected spots in that very botanical garden.
There are also barks that give off a beautiful aroma. Some smell almost balsamic, some slightly rough, and others aromatic-spicy.
Grasses stand in rows, including some exotic ones like vetiver or blue bear grass.
These have an almost earthy, profound scent.
I call this part of the garden "Green Mile" because something is always green or blooming throughout the year. Winter jasmine, whose yellow flowers have a light scent, in December and January, some evergreen rhododendrons and azaleas with fragrant leaves. Conifers like cedars or "Spanish firs," whose needles and barks smell resinous-woody, and much more.
Pascal Morabito has managed to capture such a diverse, "green" fragrance in a bottle.
It brings me joy to occasionally spray a piece of "Green Mile" and to relax and unwind with it. Simply to recharge with calmness and tranquility.
