Perle Verte Pascal Morabito

Clearly a case, the first spray tells me, I know this scent, it's CABOTINE.
Uh, no, it's TENDRE POISON;
But no, it's PERLE VERTE.

So if you didn't know exactly, you would think it's the same perfume, although I find Perle Verte clearly better in terms of price.

PERLE VERTE is very similar to Cabotine by Grés, Tendre Poison is, as the name suggests, more delicate, which suits the scent very well, and delicate doesn't mean fleeting.

I love this type of fragrance where you can't really tell what you're smelling unless you look at the fragrance pyramid beforehand.

Floral or green or both, it's hard to determine what is dominating. Sometimes I think it's the green notes, then again, it's the flowers that lull me. Yes, that's the word, they lull me, I feel comfortable and secure, that's just how I perceive it. Quite different from some others here.

For me, nothing clangs, nothing is harsh or stings, nothing scratches or bites, it's simply beautiful.

Well, beautiful is boring, you might think now, so: it is beautifully green, we've already established that, but it is also beautifully soft-warm-spicy, it is beautifully aromatic-woody, it is beautifully floral-herbaceous, beautifully fresh-fruity, although not too much fruit comes through.

Although the components of the heart note are rather modest with only 3 components listed, the scent is immensely complex, has an incredible sillage. When you leave the room and come back minutes later, it still smells wonderful.
The hyacinth is not listed, nor is tuberose, but maybe they are on board after all, because it smells remarkably of both.
In the end, I notice just a tiny bit of vanilla, but it could be that I'm just imagining it.

It's truly amazing how you can create such an exquisite scent with - albeit different - ingredients in the 3 fragrances (see above), which are rudimentarily similar. In any case, I am more than delighted and very happy to now own this bottle of PERLE VERTE.

All in all, this is a more than successful souk purchase, and I thank the lovely Ambercase very much for letting me have it at such a good price.
