In French pistachio honey heaven
On my fragrance journey I discover just that I find some Gormanddüften yet quite good. Have I Gourmand previously associated mainly with vanilla, chocolates, sugar, sugar, sugar and sticky sweetness, I have now discovered some fragrances that make me rethink my dislike for Gourmand. One of them is Pistachio Ganache!
Designed by Calice Becker together with the French star pastry chef François Payard, this fragrance bez. all three of this collection pays homage to the high art of patisserie. The inspiration for this fragrance is, as the name suggests a praline filled with pistachio ganache (For those who have nothing to do with baking: a ganache is a chocolate cream that is often used as a filling for cakes and chocolates and can be flavored with other ingredients such as pistachios)
When spraying on the fragrance receives one therefore also immediately the pistachio. But it seems to be a roasted pistachio, but also mixes a subtle pleasant smoke note with it. At this moment I found the fragrance quite nice, but not yet a highlight, but then came the honey and I love honey. Now the perfume really becomes a gourmand but it is a full sweet-tart gourmand and not something squeaky sweet marshmallowy. The lavender then rounds out the composition wonderfully (I don't smell the jasmine) and gives it something noble. Like a posh breakfast with pistachios and lavender honey in Provence. Just beautiful and to dream.
Much course the fragrance does not have, but I do not really care, because who wants to get away from this lavender pistachio honey heaven?
