Stylish Soapiness
I don't really understand why this fragrance is listed as a women's scent. It works for men too!
The anniversary bouquet is of the noble, soapy kind. If you don't like soapiness in perfumes, you should not test this one.
The opening is fresh and citrusy, with a subtle hint of clove.
After about 10 minutes, the aforementioned soapiness comes into play with a beautiful bouquet of bitter flowers! Very elegant and "very British." This accord lasts a long time for me before the base takes over with a rather dry woodiness. A bit of moss also comes through, and the musk (soapiness) is pushed into the background here.
At first, I didn't like this scent, but the longer I wore it, the more I liked it! I will probably test it one more time to be really sure whether it will find a place in my collection.

...I prefer it on a man. After several attempts, we went our separate ways because it really doesn't get much more "unsexy" than this... God save the Queen :-)

Yes, it works for men too, it's typically British and really not bad (I give it a 70). For most, it might be a bit too much of an "English scent." But since I like that, it suits me.

You hit the nail on the head with what you wrote. S-O-A-P! And I was sure it was a men's soap! - not that a woman can't wear it, but why is it marketed under a feminine label? *Shakes head* Not for me, Blenheim Bouquet is much better for me.
