The Cut Penhaligon's 2025
1
Bridgerton Garden Party
A classic fougère, with a fresh herbal open (mint, sweet basil), a green and purple heart (dusty sage, lavender, cypress), and a dry woody base (cedar, vetiver).
Sometimes I think that as fragrance fans, we can become so overly fixated on the new and novel that we dismiss classic scent profiles...but they're classics for a reason.
While The Cut isn't new or groundbreaking, it's meticulously composed, elegantly reserved, and so overwhelmingly British that I'm surprised it doesn't invite me for tea.
This is Anthony Bridgerton attending a garden party, and he looks (and smells) damn good.
Projection and longevity are moderate, and it's traditionally masculine coded.
