The Green That Comes from the Depths
Fern forests with meter-high delicate fronds, interspersed with conifers and birches. Sunlight flickers vaguely through the dense canopy. Steaming after the summer rain, the forest and earth are fragrant. Somewhere here, there seems to be a pond, as it smells of damp blue iris and a hint of water lilies. A very cozy and mysterious scent spreads. I also suspect a lavender field on the "bright side" of the ancient grove where I have just settled on an old bench. Lavender, herbal, herb-floral, green and blue. The scent of summer.
Right next to the bench, I notice a "tree ruin" lying there, completely covered with fluffy shimmering moss. This earthy-green scent mixes with that of the fern and lavender, without forgetting the rich woody aromas that spread everywhere. A wonderfully earthy, Fougère-like "cozy" scent that gives the soul deep tranquility. Just as it emerges from the depths of nature, it "resonates" mentally back. The echo of the field and the forest!!
