It has what it says on the label
I just pulled the bottle out from the back corner. It is oval, similar to DKNY Pure, and was filled with a purple-blue liquid. The color has changed a bit, but the scent is still OK. There is a small loop at the neck.
I love the scent; my colleagues partly hated it, although I must admit that I might have exaggerated a bit. It does have a strong scent, and I think 1-2 spritzes would have sufficed.
I got it about 6 years ago for little money at a perfumery. Back then, I wasn't a sniffer yet. I have no idea what possessed me to spray it on, but I did.
And I don't regret it because it truly smells only of violets. I don't find it artificial, and it is not layered or adorned with sweet or spicy aromas like Penhaligon's or Annick Goutal's fragrances (the others I unfortunately haven't sniffed yet). But I associate this simple scent with a wonderful memory.
It’s spring, I grabbed little Uwe, and off we go for a morning stroll in the park. The first rays of sunshine warm my whole body. There are no people around me who could complain; little Matz hops around happily, and I breathe deeply and smell exactly that - violets! A whole meadow full of them exudes its sweet scent, and I simply feel free and happy.
I am a bit annoyed that I didn't also grab the peony and the freesia. Bouquet de Violettes gets 100% from me because I find it beautiful that it is so simple and allows me to indulge in my memories so nicely.
