Cloud 7 on a meadow with a view of the city.

Not so long ago, I went to the H&C perfumery to just have a look around (like most people here, I find it hard to walk past one without testing ;-) ). The saleswoman was on fire, asked me what I liked and held the corresponding fragrances under my nose. That's when I came across Philly&Phill for the first time.

Fun fact: The Punks In Paradise was not there.

However, I've been a fan of Philly&Phill since that day.
I gradually tested my way through the portfolio, mostly through bottlings on Parfumo. At some point, someone mentioned this fragrance in the ticker, and so I became curious about it. So I ordered a bottle of it as well.

When it arrived, I tested it straight away, of course. And what can I say. I fell in love with it, even though it's not the kind of fragrance I prefer. It's something you hardly ever smell otherwise.

It starts with lots of hemp and nice fruity-citrusy-sweet. There is also some rather "light" incense in there. However, it's not at all intrusive or such that someone would think you had just consumed it :D. More like a soft drink with hemp flavor, which you can buy in junk stores every now and then, but which still smells pleasant. The scent develops in a soft, earthy direction, in which the citrusy-fruity-sweetness remains and the hemp fades.

Pictorially, I imagine a group of young, rebellious adults sitting somewhere on a meadow with a view of the city - laughing their heads off, but also crying sometimes, and then laughing again. Drinking canned beer and smoking their first jibbit. Talking about life, family, ex-partners and politics.

Just like this. Punks in Paradise.
