Wild and untamed

After testing countless bottlings and perfumes in the Alsterhaus to find out which perfume would be the first niche fragrance to be added to my collection, Untamed Oud prevailed over my highly selective "I". But how did it manage that?

Scented: The fragrance is in the prelude and heart of creativity hard to beat. Usually I can smell scents and certain nuances when I have the notes in front of me. With Untamed Oud it is very difficult for me to name even one fragrance that is responsible for this extraordinary scent. When spraying on this scent I get the association of a passing sandstorm, wild and untamed, as if you perceive something different at the end of the smell than at the beginning. This is probably due to the scent's dry character for me. Oud here is very overwhelmed by other notes but you notice it's there and it gives something mysterious to the whole thing, not as a prominent note but rather as presence. For me very creative, dry, slightly woody, a touch of sweetness. Simply an ingenious overall composition.

Sprayer: 11/10. Never seen one better. A dosable spray that even Dior can't match.

Flacon: Nice darkened glass. The fragrance is invisible in the upper half, only when the glass becomes clearer at the bottom. The fact that the bottle is handmade is the crowning touch
Price: What to say? 610€/100ml. exorbitantly expensive and in my opinion too high priced. However, I have received the fragrance at a price to which I could not say no.

For people like me, who have tested a lot of fragrances before and know a lot even in the niche world, Untamed Oud is a clear test recommendation as it stands out even among the niche fragrances.

Thanks for reading :)
