What a beautiful scent this could have been!
The amber side is wonderfully intertwined with iris and cinnamon.
Warm, cozy, and comforting.
But…
Why is there such a bright and prickly verbena as a counterpoint?
The freshness is nice as a light touch, but the dissonant notes are less welcome.
Just when the warm resinous half settles in comfortably, the verbena rings out almost metallically in the nasal mucosa.
Less would definitely have been more here!
