Poudre de Riz is powder of the elegant kind. It starts off a bit soapy, soft, and reminds one of a clean scent.
Only a short time later, soft floral notes unfold with a hint of coconut.
Although it has slight tropical undertones, I wouldn't categorize it that way. For me, it is a noble scent of the classic school, without harsh tones.
The powder note is slightly dry, sometimes a bit muted, but overall lovely and cool.
However, it is also not a pure powder scent and certainly does not smell like baby, but rather very adult. The floral notes balance with the soft notes of sandalwood, tolu balsam, and vanilla, always underpinned by the fine powder.
As it develops, the beautiful milky rice note comes through more, and the powder becomes stronger. Now you can also detect a bright wood note. When the scent also acquires a fine nutty note, I am completely taken with it.
Although it is a delicate skin scent, it comes across quite strongly, with a fine sillage.
This one could make it onto the wish list.
You described it perfectly; I relied on that since it was a blind buy.
Thanks!
