Awful
I've struggled with oil-based fragrances thus far. I find that whatever oil is used as the base often lends an acrid or musty background smell or squashes the notes that are supposed to be present. That is definitely the case with this fragrance, unfortunately. It opens with marzipan and acrid mustiness, and I give it the benefit of the doubt for the time being and wait patiently. Then, it absolutely clobbers me in the face with cinnamon. Not a cinnamon stick or powdered cinnamon from the kitchen, but strong, spicy, bitter, choke-you-out cinnamon essential oil. So much cinnamon essential oil that it makes me feel nauseous and headache-y. At this point I raced to scrub it off my skin. After washing with soap and water, the scent lingers, and I feel physically awful.
