Good-Mood-Summer-Sun Fragrance
I sometimes have my issues with so-called summer fragrances, as they often feel just "too little" to me, meaning too light, too citrusy, too aquatic, and too fleeting.
Fortunately (or strangely), this is not the case with the candidates that feature orange.
After having had extremely good experiences with "Entre Naranjos" by Ramon Monegal, I wanted to try an "orange fragrance" where the oranges almost take center stage.
So I took the plunge and made a "blind purchase" of a sample of "Orange Flower and Amber" by Potter & Moore, as the listed fragrance components are quite minimal. And it was worth it! Right after application, there is a brief citrusy freshness, before orange groves unfold before my nose and in my mind's eye. These are ripe, fruity oranges, pampered by the southern sun, exuding their delicious aroma without being overripe or overly sweet. Amber supports the splendor and ensures that it lasts a long time.
A very rounded, finely tuned composition that always lightly envelops you without being intrusive.
I feel as if I’ve been transported to Italy or Spain, sitting in the setting sun and enjoying the waning summer day. And the oranges continue to release their scent.... This fragrance invites you to dream!
From my perspective, it is clearly a unisex fragrance (if one likes oranges and amber), with which you can do absolutely nothing wrong on warm/hot days, especially since "overdosing" is almost impossible.
This one is coming with me in my vacation suitcase ;-)
