Cool Tuberose
A very light and pretty fragrance that wears a lot longer than you would think. I don't pick up any other florals than the ones listed in the notes and the spice I think is cardamom. This has an airy, watery feel about it, but in a good way, so that the tuberose isn't over-powering on a hot summer day, a cooling influence as it were. Again, like the others in this line, smells more expensive than the purchase price.

Spice Melange
Tuberoses and orchids are not exactly the "lightweights" among fragrance ingredients. Therefore, I was prepared for a "scent bomb," expecting a heavy, very sweet fragrance (thank you bellemorte for the sample).
At first, this seemed to hold true, as the opening is indeed sweet and heavy, but also spicy. A very delicate floral scent with minimal green undertones lies above it.
A very impressive, enchanting note, sensual, pleasant, not a bit sticky, "subtle" is, however, something else....
But no worries, after the "intense" opening, STO quickly becomes lighter and brighter, powdery and spicy.
I can't identify which spices are at play here, but I suspect cardamom. I really like this, it's wonderfully done, absolutely harmonious.
In my "mind's eye," I see white orchids; they must be white, as vibrant colors (of flowers) do not fit the image I have of STO at all.
In the heart and base, the spices dominate the fragrance; it's fascinating how they prevent the heavy tuberose and orchids from becoming "too much." The scent is strong but not cloying or overwhelming.
STO is warm and cool at the same time, bright and spicy, and delicately sweet; it's great, the individual fragrance components harmonize wonderfully with each other.
There isn't much more development in the scent; STO gently fades away.

I really like how tuberose and orchid are presented here; it's a shame that Spiced Tuberose & Orchid has received so little attention so far. The fragrance is definitely worth a test. It even makes it onto my wish list.

Sillage and longevity are good.
