Joy and Sorrow...

... are known to be closely related
For me, L'Eau Ambrée by Prada is an interesting discovery. Since I already own and enjoy wearing Amber pour Homme Intense, this fragrance piqued my curiosity. I bought it without testing it first.
And I must say I was surprised...
The scent starts off very, very fresh and citrusy but quickly develops into a warmer, more sensual direction on my skin. Amber, vanilla, and opoponax become very prominent on my skin; I don't perceive much from the heart note. However, the lemon still sneaks in from time to time even in the dry down.
This creates a fragrance that is fresh yet also very elegant, which I believe can definitely be worn by men, as it is absolutely not too feminine or too sweet.
The only downside for me is definitely the sillage and longevity. It is really a very close-to-the-skin scent that feels almost subtle to me. Unfortunately, it lasts on my skin for a maximum of 4 hours, after which reapplication is necessary :-)
But I am more than happy to do that...
because I feel good with L'Eau Ambrée. This fragrance conveys a sense of exclusivity, and I can only agree with Garnet on that ;-)

I was also surprised by how beautifully it develops after the rather boring citrus opening for me. A light summer scent that smells luxurious and elegant. In my opinion, it’s suitable not just for the evening. Unfortunately, it has poor longevity and sillage, so it’s not a contender.
