Wonderful Sweet Creamy Vanilla
I recently had the chance to test Infusion de Vanille by Prada.
I applied it with joy, without noticing at first glance that it was vanilla. The bottles are familiar from, for example, the Iris, etc.
What immediately hits the nose is the pleasant vanilla; it is sweet, creamy, slightly powdery, and distinctly noticeable. Paired with a light acidity from the citrus fruits, it creates a wonderful combination, especially for spring. In summer, it might be a bit overwhelming.
As time goes on, the scent hardly changes; the vanilla remains clearly detectable. A hint of musk joins in.
I find the longevity to be good personally. However, the sillage seems a bit disappointing. I can perceive the scent distinctly for several hours, but my companions (who always notice everything) hardly smelled it at all.
All in all, a great everyday scent if you like sweet vanilla.
