Freshly Showered at the Baker

Summer is coming to an end, so it's time to leave a review of the fragrance I wore the most this summer.
The Luna Rossa Ocean Eau de Parfum starts off fruity with a nice dose of grapefruit combined with a certain woodiness. Frankincense lingers subtly but noticeably in the background. However, this changes quite quickly, and after a few minutes, the scent increasingly develops into a shower gel or shampoo. I don't find that too bad. It gives the whole thing a certain freshness and creates, at least for me, a feeling of cleanliness and well-groomedness. The shower gel vibe lasts for a certain time and never completely disappears throughout the scent's progression. Nevertheless, the scent journey is by no means linear. On the contrary. It feels like it changes every minute. From the second or third hour, the magic begins, and the vanilla starts to emerge. The fragrance becomes sweeter (not synthetically sweet!) and creamier with each passing hour. I even think I can detect something powdery. Is there iris hidden in there? The longer the perfume is on the skin, the more the scent evolves from aquatic/fresh towards vanilla creamy/sweet. The late drydown evokes associations for me of some sweet treat you might buy at a bakery. Vanilla pudding pastry or something like that. I wouldn't say it becomes a classic gourmand scent, but it is at least tinged with gourmand qualities. The amazing thing is that it never loses that aquatic freshness. It remains fully a spring and summer fragrance. I see it being most suitable for those seasons. I wore it even on days when it was over 30°C and found it absolutely appropriate for that. Sure, you can wear it in autumn and winter, although I think there are more suitable everyday fragrances for those times.
In my opinion, it is also applicable for almost any situation, but I wouldn't recommend it for particularly formal events, as it does come across as quite casual. So for job interviews, business meetings, or dates, there are more fitting fragrances. For leisure and everyday wear in warm temperatures, there’s hardly anything better than this one.
Quick note on sillage. It is more or less average for both. On my skin, I can smell it for 8-10 hours, but the wearer won't stand out much unless someone gets closer. This perfume is not a projection monster. But I don't think it needs to be.
Give it a try. I think it’s worth testing. P/L is top.
