Where do you want to go?

When I read the scent notes of Luna Rossa Ocean EDP before I bought it, I asked myself "Where are you going?" This can't be an "ocean fragrance". The line is supposed to be fragrances for summer and whether this is a summer fragrance, well. After smelling it for the first time, I was confirmed. A strong sweetness that smells rather artificial. The Amber Xtreme is definitely perceptible. Even if the fragrance is not only sweet and the freshness of the grapefruit also smells pleasant, it is still clearly the sweetness that dominates the fragrance. But if it's not a classic summer fragrance, then it's a great date fragrance. After all, sweet fragrances with a certain freshness are the classic scent for dates. But well, the fragrance is somehow still not the right one for a date. It's just too overpowering when you're close to each other. That makes it kind of useless for a date. So what is this fragrance intended for? There is great disagreement among perfume connoisseurs on this point. Some are of the opinion that the fragrance is only suitable for fall and winter. Others also see the fragrance on summer days.
I have to say, I see the fragrance as an evening scent in spring and summer. Not for a date, but simply for going out or to the club. Quasi as a counterpart to the EDT, which is a clear daytime fragrance for spring and summer. Of course, you can also use the EDP in fall or winter, but in my opinion there are much better fragrances. The fragrance is only exciting if you use it in the warmer seasons. However, I have to say that the fragrance smells a little too artificial for me. Otherwise, the fragrance smells really pleasant and the Amber Extreme also goes well with the fragrance, it is just too intense in it. Overall, this ensures that the fragrance has a slight headache potential. So it is absolutely limited, but it is there. All in all, I would say that the fragrance actually has a pleasant sweetness, but it is too intense. Apart from that, the pleasant freshness is not present enough, namely after a while not at all. The fragrance is too one-sided for me from this point on.

Summer is coming to an end, so it's time to leave a review of the fragrance I've been wearing most this summer.
The Luna Rossa Ocean Eau de Parfum starts off fruity with a nice load of grapefruit combined with a certain woody note. Incense hovers discreetly but perceptibly in the background. However, the whole thing changes quite quickly and after a few minutes the fragrance develops more and more into a shower gel or shampoo. I don't think that's a bad thing so far. It gives the whole thing a certain freshness and, for me at least, creates a feeling of cleanliness and well-groomedness. The shower gel vibe lasts for a certain amount of time and never completely disappears throughout the fragrance. Nevertheless, the fragrance is by no means linear. On the contrary. It feels like it changes every minute. From the second or third hour onwards, the magic begins and the vanilla comes to the fore. The fragrance becomes sweeter (not synthetically sweet!) and creamier from hour to hour. I think I can even detect something powdery. I wonder if there is still some iris hidden there? The longer the perfume is on the skin, the more the scent develops from aquatic/fresh towards vanilla creamy/sweety. The late drydown makes me think of some sweet pastry that you can buy at the bakery. Vanilla pudding Danish pastry or something like that. I don't want to say that this makes it a classic gourmand fragrance, but at least it has a gourmand touch. The great thing about it is that it never loses that aquatic freshness. It remains entirely a spring and summer fragrance. These are the seasons when I see it the most. I have worn it even on days when it was over 30° C. and found it absolutely suitable for this. Of course, you can also wear it in fall and winter, although I think there are more suitable everyday fragrances.
In my opinion, it can also be used for almost any situation, but I wouldn't recommend it for particularly distinguished events, as it already looks very casual. There are more suitable fragrances for job interviews, business meetings or dates. For leisure and everyday life in warm temperatures, there is almost nothing better than this one.
A quick word about H/S. It's more or less average for both. I can smell it on my skin for 8-10 hours, but the wearer won't attract much attention unless you get close to him. This perfume is not a projection monster. But in my opinion, it doesn't need to be.
Give it a try. I think you should have tried it. P/L is top.

Aquatic / Fresh

Prada Luna Rossa Ocean is an excellent, fresh slightly sweet fruity fragrance. Perfect for everyday use as in the office or for leisure. Lasts relatively long ( 6 hrs+) and reaches every single phase of its fragrance pyramid.

I Wear the fragrance super happy, is definitely recommended!

Lemon cake

I've had the fragrance on the shelf for a while now, initially I had picked up aquatic notes, which is no longer the case. The mixture of the citrus fruit grapefruit with incense and vanilla give the fragrance the feeling of smelling like lemon cake. I wouldn't say it's bad now, the name has less to do with the fragrance, but the scent is still relatively good. It doesn't smell too sweet, there are only a few fragrance notes and the scent is incisive and goes in the direction of a lemon cake.

Ocean stands for... what does Ocean stand for?

Another flanker in the Luna Rossa series, some scored well, some less so. Luna Rossa Ocean Eau de Toilette had mixed reviews, will this one make up for it? Clear the name?

The fragrance opens with a sugary grapefruit and a hint of freshness. A drink in an all-inclusive hotel during a summer vacation at 8pm. This transforms into a spicy incense note with a powdery undertone. The sweet and spicy fragrance dries down.
A nice blend.
No novelty, not much ocean, just a pleasant designer fragrance. I don't think it's bad.

The durability is perfectly fine, completely average, you can have fun with it for a few hours. It is discreet in the room and fits the fragrance profile well.

Not a world first, but a no-brainer. Maybe it will move in with me at some point.
