A Nice Powdery and Clean Perfume

It is a Nice Scent, Powdery, Soapy, Clean and Woody. I received It as a Gift for my Birthday Last week. My favorite choice in Line is EDT and I love it but EDP is another perfume and style. It opens up with a bit soapy and fresh spicy, woody and balsamic notes in the background then dry down is semi sweet Vanilla and woody. This is a Linear Fragrance with Good Longevity. I'm so happy that I have it in my collection.

Vanilla Ocean

First impression-For sure different than its' brother EDT but also similar. Strange enough but true.It keeps the fresh character of the EDT but still is more warm and sweet. It is more versatile and it fits almost all seasons but mostly Spring Autumn. Highly based to vanilla moves a lot away from its' ocean name but the top notes still keep the freshness alive.
As a conclusion is rather a good fragrance which does not impress you at a high level but still you need to spray it more and more as you use it.

Another boring flanker to an already boring line

Just another synthetic mess of vague spiciness, vague woodiness, and vague ambers. By "amber" I don't mean the traditional amber accord of vanilla, labdanum, and benzoin, but rather synthetic amber aromachemicals like amberwood, amber xtreme, ambroxan, etc which in theory try to replicate the scent of ambergris but in reality can't be further.

Even though there is sweetness, I don't get any vanilla from Luna Rossa "Ocean." Possibly a bit of vanillin that provides a bit of powderiness way at the end, but it seems like the sweetness is provided by ethyl maltol, which is more akin to cotton candy when there's a lot of it like in BR540, but here it's mixed in with the woody aromachemicals and doesn't stand out on its own.

Any grapefruit/citrus note is so fleeting it is hardly worth mentioning. And if you smell frankincense from this fragrance, I'm convinced you've never actually smelled frankincense before. Not sure what they were thinking with this note pyramid.

All in all, this is just another collection of aromachemicals that sat on some perfumer's shelf called "generic male scent #18" until they shipped it off to Prada to make it the umpteenth (actually, let's call it what it is, it is even more embarrassing: ELEVENTH) uninspiring flanker of an old, tired, boring line.

Synthetic ocean ○_○

I bought a sample of it 5 days ago and i was very curious about the smell. As i Sprayed it on, i got a straight synthetic smell which had some fresh and aquatic hints in it. As the drydown comes in the smell transforms into a slightly fresh vanilla scent and the synthetic smell reduces. All in all this perfume does his Job and is very solid as an designer frag for the Spring. It is a cool fragrance for someone who wants something new for spring and has no problems with synthetic notes. The sillage and performance is a 7/10 for freshies. I hope this Review helped you altough my english is not that great.

Disappointed

I was really excited for this after loving the EDT version which is just a simple clean smelling fragrance.
This scent is just boring. It completely changed up from the OG.
It just smells like powdered vanilla and synthetic amber and reminds me of a stronger longer lasting AXE body spray. All the Fragrance YouTubers talked this up making it sound very good and it just doesn’t live up to it, to me anyways. Definitely don’t blind buy thinking it’s going to be the same as the EDT.
