Patchouli and I, it's just not going to work out.

I get it. Sometimes it's too cellar-like for me, other times too chocolatey. It's tricky. But here it works.

It sounds very pleasant and relaxing to be on this journey - especially since I prefer earthy & woody scents over gourmand ones.

Very interesting description, it's nice that Prada still has fragrances that deviate from their powdery-clean brand DNA.

In their premium line, there are some nice surprises, and sometimes it gets a bit messy. :)

With words like that, I personally tend to be more susceptible to patchouli.

Amber flickering is a lovely thing. Especially when the sweetness of vanilla knows how to behave.

* With the first spray, I feel like I have a slightly citrusy version of “Coromandel” EdP in front of me. The parallels are undeniable: bitter chocolatey patchouli, sprinkled with benzoin, wrapped in amber and dark vanilla sweetness. Delicate wisps of incense drift through this midnight train, minimally creamy and balsamically soft. Where Chanel takes an expansive approach, Prada typically opts for a more restrained style. Instead of gourmand tendencies, woodiness takes center stage, with the initially damp-earthy patchouli becoming increasingly drier, turning “Midnight Train” into a delicate veil. Prada has definitely captured my attention and sparked wishlist feelings. A big thank you to @Sapho for the long-awaited testing opportunity. 🫶🏼
