Princess ...
... and the Pea.
That's what my dear husband likes to call me - affectionately ironic.
How does he come up with that?
Well, I can be a bit, how shall I put it - sensitive.
I don't like to climb on chairs - because of my fear of heights; the coffee has to be just warm enough - not hot, yet I love a tropical room temperature of 23 degrees and when I have to go outside in winter, I break the face-covering ban.
When my father opened the refrigerator door, he would hand me a scarf just in case I caught a chill.
With such teasing, it's no wonder I fell for Royalissime - from the house of a real prince.
And the scent is truly regal.
Full freesia, paired with lush gardenia, immediately rose to my crown.
Enchantingly radiant.
A whole cornucopia of jasmine and lily of the valley follows - in the end, ylang-ylang waves its scepter.
This fragrance has been created by a generous monarch.
Everywhere there is gold leaf and sparkling crystal chandeliers.
Of course, I took the fragrance with me - that's what those whimsical jokers get.

It's not an everyday scent - but definitely for enchanted princess days.

A Royal Surprise!
More out of whim, I ordered this mini for really very little money with an order from Spain. When it arrived a few days ago, I immediately smelled the bottle and liked Royalissime right away. Of course, I then started researching to learn more about the fragrance.

What I found out was truly a surprise. Henri Philippe Pierre Marie d'Orleans, born on June 14, 1933, married to Marie Therese of Württemberg, with 5 children. He is the Duc de Paris and Prince de France. If France were still a monarchy today, he would be King Henri VII. His father was Henri Robert Ferdinand Marie Louis Philippe d'Orleans, married for the second time to Isabelle d'Orleans-Bragance.

I had no idea that this blind purchase would lead me to such high circles. In fact, Henri d'Orleans owns his own perfumery. In addition to Royalissime, he has also created Lys Bleu.

Royalissime is a worthy bearer of its name. A subtle yet present, very feminine and elegant daytime fragrance for the worldly woman. A floral scent that I cannot imagine on a man at all (EP, please do not test ;-))).

In the opening, almost peachy fruity, this fine impression fades quickly and makes way for the flowers. Regarding the pyramid, I could only find the aforementioned flowers, just like Mightynaf. Nevertheless, I could swear there are more flowers in it and also other fragrance components. Clove, for example, plays a rather significant role in the first third of the scent. It plays delicately with the ylang and the freesias. Jasmine only comes in much later, and the gardenia may join in, but here it is extremely reserved and harmonious.

The fragrance has absolutely nothing screaming or flashy about it and is still remarkably present. It does not dominate the wearer; it accentuates her femininity and elegance. It is like an organza shawl draped over the bare shoulders of the wearer, covering but not concealing. A daytime fragrance that stands out from the crowd in its softness, yes creaminess, and its fragrance harmony. The woman who wears this scent is confident and fully aware of her effect.

To all those who love floral fragrances, I truly recommend Royalissime. It is worth it, even though it does NOT cost €175!

Such a beautiful, forgotten classic of aldehydes!!
My old new rediscovery! :) I found the fragrance in my old perfume cabinet and can definitely say that it is over 20 years old. It simply smells wonderful!! After some research, I saw that it is still available! These are the notes I found: jasmine, gardenias, freesia, lily of the valley and ylang ylang
It will stay with me forever! And I will look for a new bottle..
Something for true floral fragrance lovers
