Not Similar Enough
I love Bleu Turquoise very much; it is so different, complex, and somehow soothing. Unfortunately, it is also very expensive and sometimes overwhelming. Because the incense with the pepper was a bit too much for me, I never got the original bottle. Still, the longing for it remained, and I struggled with myself about whether I should perhaps buy it after all.
Now I saw this dupe and was very critical because I found it hard to believe that the two could really be so similar. However, after two YouTube reviews that were very positive, it seemed worth trying the dupe.
The bottle is actually more valuable in reality than in the pictures. The cap feels heavy and has the original-typical marbling. The sprayer is surprisingly good, like niche fragrances, very well controllable and fine.
The scent behaves like a kind of flanker of the original. It has a similar scent progression (first spicy, then salty, woody with a slight sweetness).
It remains quite fresh, aquatic, without possessing the extreme sillage and longevity of Bleu Turquoise.
I do not regret buying it, as it is a pleasant, easy-to-wear summer scent. It cannot replace the original for me, as it is too far from it.
