Blue Whisky on the Rock, in an Old-Fashioned Glass Proad 2023

Realistic whiskey scent, smooth, and oddly blue. I'm not sure why it's blue or if it's a trick of the mind due to the title of this fragrance, but it is a somewhat solemn feeling whiskey note. Like a man sitting alone at a bar with a solemn look about him.

It starts out lovely with the whiskey booziness that's smooth and woody. But then as it dries down it turns more green and the warmth takes a backseat. Suddenly the eucalyptus and patchouli start to come through giving the composition a complete change from the opening. It's now somewhat bitter and green but with the booziness still there calmly in the background giving it a bit of warmth still.

The scent is quite gorgeous, but it fades too soon. This becomes a faint skin scent rather quickly which is a shame since it's a really lovely scent. Whether this is full bottle worthy is a toss up for me. I might just stick with my other bottles of Proad: Cherry Syrup Gold and the Tea line - we'll see.
Either way, it's worth getting a sample of. Really nice stuff.
