Angel revisited and refined

A brilliant alternative to people who want "Angel" with a bit more of a refined attitude.
Top-notes are fruity and indredibly lush, to me, it's like a can of over-ripe, yellow peaches and mangoes in heavy syrup. I guess Angel was produced earlier than "Jailia", but the latter seems to be made of superior ingredients and doesn't have any of the harsh, chemical notes to it which I don't like in "Angel". Nevertheless, I don't find this fragrance very innovative and the genre itself is not my cup of tea either.

Being in conflict

I like pineapple a lot and I'm not averse to fizzy fruit scents lately, but I don't really know what to make of this.
The fragrance itself starts off very fruity, with the warmth of honey right away. Pineapple, juicy, ripe, wrapped in honey. It literally penetrates the marrow. Too much of a good thing? Yes, for me it is, because the whole thing is somehow exhausting and booming. But this doesn't last long. Soon a lovely note of patchouli spreads, interlaced with peach tones. Honey is no longer too strong and recedes somewhat into the background. At the edges, the fragrance feels a little scratchy. Bitter substances are also present, but I can't figure out what they are.

The fragrance breathes flat on the skin and does not penetrate. Although it creates a warm atmosphere, it does not ignite. I can detect a hint of vanilla and liquorice, while the heart of the fragrance is slightly foggy with bitter-sweet notes. Finally, on the exhale, some cocoa emerges, but it somehow seems out of place and flat.

Not a symphony. I am in a quandary. I don't know how to categorize it in the end. Sometimes it has beautiful things about it, sometimes not. Etc. Somehow I don't like the weave here, especially the beginning, it makes my hair stand on end. If there was a little less of everything, it certainly wouldn't be bad.

Durability and sillage are convincing and it is also perfect for the cold season. However, it should definitely be dosed carefully.
