Vanitas Profumum Roma 2008

i can only say! I had bought a bottle and drove home from the office at lunchtime and there was the envelope in the letterbox. I immediately went into the house and just sprayed it in the hallway... pffft. My husband and I sat together for lunch in the dining room shortly afterwards and he just said: "Pretty strong. Phew!" After a while, he said reproachfully, almost with tears in his eyes: "Why did you do that?" I had to laugh. Well, if I'd known the extent of a spray, I would probably have only tested Vanitas outdoors at first. It really is an absolute vanilla beast. At the beginning, the sweetness of the orange blossom overwhelms me and then the amazing vanilla comes through. But right on the 12! The myrrh makes the vanilla heavy and impenetrable for me. Somehow oppressive and a headache candidate for me. I don't notice sandalwood at all. H/S are above average! Old fart, I had to go over the one spray three times with lemon and wash it off until it was tolerable for me and my environment. I love the Confetto and so I thought I might also love the Vanitas. Lovers of Vanitas, don't slay me, but unfortunately you and I will not become friends. It's too loud and intrusive for me. But if you like it, you really get your money's worth!
