Another fragrance in the extended family of Giardini di Toscana Bianco Latte. It already took me ages to decide between that one and Lattafa Eclaire (I went for the latter!), then I tested LPDO La Nuit Blanche and also liked it, and now a sample of another close relative arrived.
Luckily, Gioiosa is a little different from the others.
It's still first and foremost a warm, milky vanilla with a touch of coconut and lots of crunchy caramel. There is no caramel listed, but I definitely smell it. Like most fragrances by Profumum Roma, it's a relatively simple and scent without many twists or frills. Compared to the original and the two affordable dupes I mentioned, it's slightly more complex though, and I love that. The orange stands out to my nose, and together with the crunchiness of the caramel, it makes me think of an orange-infused crème brûlée. I also get a hint of creamy jasmine, which adds another subtle layer to the scent.
If you're in for an expensive niche scent, I would absolutely advise to get Gioiosa instead of Bianco Latte. It just has that little extra something that makes it stand out. If you're more conscious of your budget and mainly want a straightforward gourmand with caramel and vanilla, both Lattafa and LPDO will do the job perfectly.
