The One True Lady Million

It took a long time for this fragrance to sneak into my heart.

So far, I have accidentally bought various offshoots and dupes of Lady Million. At the time, I didn’t know they were similar scents. I had overlooked Lady Million due to its flashy image and ugly bottle. Silly - I know.
Over time, I grew to like the fragrances more and more. But they all had this artificial honey note that I didn’t like very much. I couldn’t get used to it either.
Then I was glad to have discovered this scent. No honey but labdanum in the pyramid. Honey-like - okay.

So I tried Lady Million Absolutely Gold. It is the perfume version of Lady Million, and you can definitely smell that.
It smells overall stronger and much more noble and distinct than the EDP variant.

The orange blossom and jasmine play the leading roles here. They are quite dominant but not annoying. Patchouli is less strong, and labdanum gives the fragrance a fine, mild, balsamic spiciness. It should smell honey-like. That could be, but then quite natural. I don’t find that artificial honey note that always bothered me in the Eau de Parfum here.
The scent is a balanced interplay of the main players. Sweet neroli and jasmine are harmoniously balanced in Lady Million Absolutely Gold.
For me, the sillage is just right. You can smell the fragrance well with just one spray. If you prefer it stronger and very strong, just spray more often. With the generous bottle size, that’s also quite possible.

The only downside to this fragrance is the cheap-looking bottle with the plastic cap, in my opinion. The packaging is not a gem either. Personally, I don’t care now, as I’m focused on the content here.
The content is very good and worth its price. Especially since the fragrance is currently available at good prices. It was only available in limited edition, and the remaining stocks are now being sold.

It’s a lovely companion in the evening, from which you can still catch whiffs in the morning. The scent lasts the whole night.
I don’t want to commit to a specific season. It works all year round.
