Polo Blue Parfum - why I now like it after all

It all started when I was, as usual, buying a fragrance and then asking for samples. As always, it was the same old samples that I had already received so many of, but this time there was a surprise, a sample of Polo Blue Parfum.
Curiously, I sprayed it on and was initially disappointed. “Another boring shower gel scent,” I thought to myself, and you can imagine that if you don't give it a second chance and don't leave it on your skin for more than 1-2 hours.

It starts with a well-recognizable mandarin and cardamom, followed by clary sage, which in my opinion gives it the “shower gel impression.” I didn't find it good, but also not bad. However, when I gave it a second chance, I discovered the magic.
A nice but light breeze of wood came my way, very pleasant and not overpowering. Up to that point, I was still not really enthusiastic, as it was nothing new; it smells good and well-groomed but boring…

But as they say, the best comes at the end… And so it was, because when the incense came into play, I immediately associated it with Acqua di Gio Profumo, very fresh, aquatic, and also spicy. So what can I say now? Polo Blue Parfum is a very good everyday fragrance for spring and summer. If you're looking for a younger alternative to the discontinued Acqua di Gio Profumo, you should check out this scent. Definitely better than all the other variants of the Polo Blue line. Scent good, H/S mediocre, okay for a freshie.
