Scent

Sharp, synthetic and nothing new

I was a little surprised to read that Rammstein, in cooperation with Rossmann, was now throwing a perfume onto the market and since I was curious, I had to test the fragrance at the next, somewhat earlier Rossmann purchase. What now a world class band like Rammstein, which neither on the radio, nor really often appear in interviews and present themselves otherwise only a little in public, may bring to join the broad mass to throw a cheap synthetic drugstore fragrance on the market, that is once dahingestellt!

But now for the scent:

Carefully applied to the wrist with only one spray, a mixture of indefinable odours could be detected. Sharp, biting and also very synthetic, but also a little sweet. Ok, maybe not as cheap as other drugstore perfumes, but not really high quality, which wasn't really to be expected at 50 ml for 19,99 Euro. My wife couldn't stand the scent at all. She generally gets cough attacks and breathing problems with such cheap homeers, which rarely or never happens with high-quality niche fragrances!

Later, the fragrance developed into a fruit-leather-patchouly mixture.
The leather was clearly recognizable and can also compete with leather fragrances from the upper mid-range segment. The fruity note was not definable for my actually quite good nose. The Patchouly is nothing special. He comes across as very harmless, just runs with no chance of ever gaining the upper hand. Not to compare with Patchouly from Frederic Malles - Monsieur, who always occurs to me immediately as a wonderful representative for an absolutely great Patchouly fragrance.

Only in the morning of the next day I still had a very light, barely perceptible scent of raspberries on my wrist, which had to be a remnant of the scent as I hadn't applied anything to my wrist since then.

The scent is quite durable for a scent from the drugstore market, even if the Sillage is hardly perceptible for the environment and the scent is nevertheless very synthetic and sometimes very biting. It's certainly a bit more than the rest on the drugstore shelves, but the suspected cheek, provocativeness, uniqueness and sophistication associated with the name Rammstein is certainly not!ni

He will knock down a Davidoff Coolwater buyer, but he won't knock a demanding nose off a stool and one will probably only reach the mega fan or average fragrance buyer of the probably younger generation. The rest will probably go for the higher-priced fragrance segment!
