Snow White and Rose Death
Just this morning, I wrote about a rose-red statement "unfortunately I couldn't test it yet." Now I can write: "unfortunately I could test it."
It starts off well. If the scent stayed like this - it would be a candidate for purchase. Fruity-green, unexpectedly lovely.
But after about a minute, the metallic note comes in. And it is dreadful. It reminds me so much of blood that I feel nauseous. Some say they get nausea and a gag reflex from this one "sperm perfume" (you know, that bodily fluid stuff magnifiques Sécrétions Magnifiques). Well, I have the same experience here.
How can one imagine this? Picture a hostage situation in a perfumery or rose water factory. Unfortunately, it takes a dark turn, and now everyone is lying in their pools of blood. The proteins slowly start to decompose, the blood emits a metallic scent... And then there's the sultry, hot weather today... Phew...
Dear Monsieur Illan, dear guys from Rammstein, what were you thinking? I like your music, at least now and then, I am even more interested in your fragrances. In the worst case, they are OK, in the best case, I am thrilled. How often have I sprayed the sailor in the last few days and enjoyed it. How I look forward to the sailor intense. How impressed I am by the heart and base notes of Cocaine Gold. How fine is White Ash.
But this rose I will throw on the perfume compost. Because even if the disgusting metallic note weakens, an unpleasant memory remains for me, which is not displaced but deepened by this incoming sticky rose scent.

Your review is definitely a hit 🤗 but I perceived the scent quite differently. I briefly had the association with blood too, but thankfully there were no pools of blood...
I really liked the cool scent. A bit like "Rose Alcane" in a pink flamingo outfit.
I tested the perfume too and unfortunately noticed the blood scent consistently. Not for me at all.
Your drastic comment perfectly captures this olfactory experience in true Rammstein style :) There definitely needs to be a trophy for that!
However, I'm familiar with really strong fragrances from the 70s and 80s-maybe that makes me immune to it :-) Today, I'm wearing **Rosenrot Gold Intense** and I think it's great too.
