Urea Plastic-Like
Is it even worth writing a comment about this - uh - what is this supposed to be - smell of a scorched hairdryer or something, regarding "L'Aigle de Victoire"?
There are scents, pardon, perfumes, that have such odorants listed, some stink too, but this one?
Even my stomach revolts.
"L'Aigle de la Victoire," as it says on the sample sprayer, initially smells dense on the skin like everything Angua has written. Now it’s time to summarize this, to make a comparison, to name a reference scent so that interested parties know what they are getting into.
The only things that come to mind are electrical appliances that, on one hand, still smell new and initially, during first use, smell of the heating dust from the circuit boards, of cheap cable sheathing warming up. Or like a hairdryer that starts to scorch, a mixer. With such a smell, at least with the hairdryer or mixer, you immediately pull the plug. Or like plastic that has melted on a ceramic cooktop, like synthetic leather that has been scorched by a cigarette. Especially when you smell "L'Aigle de la Victoire" from about 30 cm away from the skin. After rummaging through my scent memory for a while, I realize what it smells like: urea plastics, which can smell so disgusting. We have an elevator with such an interior lining. And every time you use it, you wonder if someone has peed in the corner, or if someone incontinent was in there before.
But it’s never the case; it’s spick and span, the lining is mint green, the floor is made of ceramic tiles.
When smelled very close to the skin, "L'Aigle de la Victoire" is even a bit green, sour, patchouli-like, indeed. And of course, it’s a middle ground between synthetic leather that has been scented with a natural leather aroma - right? I think that’s enough. Now I get to wash it off again.

Melted plastic on a ceramic cooktop is a nightmare. No - let's skip that. Thanks for the warning.

Wow, that one seems to really pack a punch. I'm actually leaning towards adding it to my wish list. :)

Two great comments again last night! :) Even if neither of them seemed to excite you or pushed the limits of your scent experience.
