Triomphe Rancé 1795 2009 Eau de Parfum

Once upon a time, there was a little fragrance. It was delicate, fine, and had good potential to offer. Light fruity notes hid behind a shy smoky vanilla paired with flowers that made themselves known the most. But overall, the fragrance was a real wallflower.

It didn't look bad at all, but it could never shake off its shy aura; it only seemed to grow stronger. Other fragrances on the shelf and from the Collection Imperial tried to coax it out of its shell and encourage it to be brave. But it was in vain; it showed itself less and less. Not at parties, not even at work. It just hung out on the sofa, at home, imprisoned behind gray walls and thick curtains.

Sometimes, Triomphe wished to experience courage, to go out and become part of the world it occasionally observed through the window. But these remained just wishes. A truly sad story, really.

After 4 depressing and invisible hours that I spent with it, it disappeared silently, probably back to its spartan, gray apartment. Well, maybe I can get to know its brothers from the Collection Imperial better and for longer... But unfortunately, Triomphe is no triumph and is almost a ghost fragrance... You can hardly see it, even if you believe in it...
