Fattan pour homme vs. Terre D'Hermes. And the winner is...

To the prehistory - I got the Terre d'Hermès Eau de Toilette from my wife years ago and found the really nice. Since the Fattan pour Homme is considered THE dupe par excellence, I would like to give you my impressions again as Ringfight.

Fragrance Terre d'Hermès Eau de Toilette (7.5/10) vs. Fattan pour Homme (7/10):
The EDT opens with the gong with a targeted freshness kick of citrus and oranges and puts the Fattan arg. The Fattan hits with his *herbaceous-green* vetiver chin chop full on the twelve. It is quite impetuous at first, because quite chemical/syntehtic in the first round (opening). But that lays in the 3 and 4 fragrance round and then he begins to shine.

Overall, the Terre d'Hermes has the *fresher/moother* movement and easily dances out the challenger with his scent chords like Muhammed Ali against Frazier and gives him a left/right combo. The scent round clearly goes to the orange old master.

SILLAGE EDT (7/10) vs. Fattan (9/10):
The green giant puts the orange old master mighty, because its external effect is much stronger than the Terre. This point goes to the Fattan.

DURABILITY EDT (7/10) vs. Fattan (9/10):
The *Green* has a mega-condition with 10 hrs - clearly he is just many years younger than the champ, which is at about 6 hrs. But that is certainly due to chemical doping, because he has an abnormal power - somehow he reminds me of Hulk.

VERSATILITY EDT (8/10) vs. Fattan (6/10):
Precisely because the Terre projects less and has a more natural smell, it is also good to use in the office and also in the mild summer. The Fattan I see more for leisure or in the evening because of the power.

CONCLUSION...and the winner is:
As a referee, I rate the fight as a draw. For me, the Terre simply has the better scent technique and smells smoother than the massively doped Hulk. The scent is for me the main criterion in a perfume, followed by sillage (you want to be smelled) and then durability (you can re-spray yes).
Price / performance is at the Fattan for about 20 euros / 50ml a no-brainer and a really well made perfume. The main difference for me is the *green* interpretation, which somehow reminds me of the green meadows / forests of Ireland (fresh breeze from the coast in combination lush green meadows). The Terre reminds me more of dry earth in Spain combined with rain surrounded by orange groves. Both have their justification. Absolute purchase recommendation - but test before!
