A Tender Kiss
Alexandros is like a tender kiss on a warm-laden night, sitting under a wooden pavilion with fireflies buzzing around, illuminating the night. Like little stars, they twinkle in the night, the moon shines, and Alexandros blooms.
The scent notes read "heavy" to me. I had a completely different fragrance expectation.
But Alexandros shines bright like the moon. Cinnamon is immediately present. Not milk rice cinnamon, but a cool, freshly grated cinnamon. Somewhat bitter and greenish. With incense, which comes across almost warm-spicy, a spice ball forms, which one holds in a vessel with fresh jasmine. Jasmine... well, usually a bomb and you have to like it. But in Alexandros, jasmine is like a white down feather. Light, soft, floral-delicate.
It is a floral spice potpourri and brings a smile to the face because it smells so delicious.
The scent lasts long like this, until apparently the body temperature has stored the initial scent notes and in the evening one throws a blanket over oneself. A blanket that lay on an old leather armchair next to a paneled wooden wall. Always the same spot for years. A gentle leather scent rises to the nose and mingles with woody notes. It becomes lovely, delicate, and earthy. Earthy? True, patchouli... almost forgotten yet recognized. It is a great scent with a light sweetness, delicate leather, and earthy-green patchouli. Incense and cinnamon never leave the "nose"! Longevity is much longer than a tender kiss. Surely as long as a kiss followed by... um... *censored*.
