Sexy perfume
Gosh. Where do I start? I had this perfume when it first came out. It came with perfume, powder, and lotion with it—maybe it was a gift? I don’t remember.
What I do remember is how it turned heads. I always powdered myself after a shower and then sprayed on some perfume. I didn’t use the lotion a whole lot and it ended up turning orange from being old in the end. I used up nearly a whole perfume bottle by 2000 and then it started to turn bad, so I tossed it in 2004 when I was deep cleaning before my son was born. I threw away some treasures that day. But I digress.
Years later, I forgot that I threw it away and went looking for it one day and remembered it wasn’t there anymore. It made me sad, so I went on eBay and found a vintage bottle, never even having been opened. Very pricey!!!
It also came with powder and lotion, clearly somebody else’s Christmas gift they didn’t want. Thank God I found it. I don’t reach for it very often because it’s rare, expensive, and I want to savor it as long as possible. I store it in pitch black, no humidity. Fingers crossed it will last me another ten years or more.
It’s the sexiest Vanilla you will ever find—absurd longevity (14 hours with an amazing skin scent after that) and great sillage.
They remade the perfume and rebottled it, but it is not the same as the original by any stretch of the imagination.
The Original is perfection. (I wish they’d stop changing original chemistries!)
