Ice, ice, baby…

ICEcold. Super frosty, deep-freezing.
The top note of VV Platinum shocks me with its frostiness.
Hardcore citrus, but without the sour fruit effect of lime or the pleasant sweetness of mandarin, just "purely citrus" with a cool, distinct green tea note, VV Platinum starts off. The metallic aspect is not a marketing gimmick… it is indeed the characteristic baseline of this platinum scent, at least for a good hour: matte, shiny, clear, colorless, and exactly linear.
In colors: Alpine white with light silver and bright green-yellow stripes.

Goosebumps, shivering, chattering teeth. Wow… this scent means business. Dead serious is my first impression (and also the second). Another quince dream bursts for me.
With the heart note, a similarly straight and clear pepper emerges: It brings no spiciness or oriental souk feeling, just pepperiness.
Then, very slowly and faintly, a few little flowers timidly raise their heads. And now comes the long-awaited quince: Super beautiful, distinctly quince-like, but firmly held in the tight corset of the metallic, cold, and still present citrus.
Only after about an hour does VV Platinum change significantly. It truly puts on a completely different dress: It becomes very, very soft. A restrained sweetness gives way to a delicate floral note, and the quince can subtly resonate. Suddenly, VV Platinum smells very close to the skin and becomes a true caress on the skin. A skin scent with great, tender intimacy. In colors: very light, airy beige with light golden dots and delicate pink speckles.
Beautiful enough to fall in love with.

I still don't know what I want to do with this scent.

Dearest Louce,

I’ll just say: spontaneous love, sparkling eyes - and on Traude, this scent is powdery (I’m not kidding, she really needs to hold out her arm for you) beautifully fruity, never cold. She wants it, do you want cake?

What does someone in a smoking household know about Alpinaweiß?! ;)

I'm a fan of describing scents with colors, and when alpine white turns to beige, it really means a lot!! Great, as always!

No, it's what comes after an hour. The rest is miles away from my taste. Light-years! I'm actually head over heels for Talcum Delicato, which is a lemon scent.
