Ice Flowers
The bottle is already a decorative eye-catcher! It looks as if the little flask is encased in a block of ice. Even though their shape is different, the floral pattern in silver reminds me of ice flowers. These delicate, sometimes flower-shaped formations that used to appear on the outside of windows in winter. Quite simply, a sign of poor thermal insulation, which is why they have become rare nowadays.

I bought the perfume primarily because of the promised quince. I am still searching for a fragrance that captures the scent of ripe quinces. Unfortunately, here it’s a no-show! Aside from a subtle fruitiness, I don't notice any of that. This scent is also discreet in every respect: a little citrusy, a little floral, and primarily characterized by a cool freshness. Actually, it’s quite a nice, pleasant fragrance, but also a bit inconsequential.

The longevity is unfortunately really poor. Barely sprayed on, the scent has already vanished. What a shame! But it somehow fits the image of the equally short-lived ice flowers.

Conclusion: Design: Platinum! Scent: Bronze! Longevity: Tin!

Where is it? Where has it gone?
Wow. After Louce's extremely good review (in form and content) - what more can one say? But if she’s already sent me a few drops of the noble fragrance, then I want to delve into it thoroughly. So at this point, once again: Thank you Louce for the noble gift!

On the subject: the scent.

The freshness - no... - the shivering cold top note is incredibly beautiful. I have truly never experienced anything so uniquely fresh. And in a certain way, it's so delicious that you could almost lick your wrist as if it were a sundae filled with nothing but fresh fruity ice cream scoops. You hardly notice the individual components; it’s more of an overall impression that washes over you. I love that, it feels like someone has dumped crushed ice into your slip - and yet you still want more.

I was really taken by the scent - until the mentioned hour was up. Well, actually even earlier... Because unfortunately, the scent is so fleeting on me that after half an hour I could smell nothing of it anymore. Same scent, different wrist, second attempt. Wow, there’s the crushed ice again... and it’s gone already. No, wait, that’s not quite right: I still faintly perceived a certain freshness or better yet, coolness, which shouldn’t be belittled to the point of calling it “freshly showered” or “April-fresh washed.” You can tell there’s something there... or was... or something like that... but it’s no longer tangible. Unfortunately. Maybe the individual ingredients just can’t handle the frost...? New day, new luck - no… not again… darn it!

Conclusion: for me, at first, it was a truly amazing scent that overwhelmed me like an avalanche. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last on me as I had hoped. Therefore, I will continue to cherish the sample and occasionally indulge in frosty well-being. But nothing more. What a shame. I would have been pleased.

Ice, ice, baby…
ICEcold. Super frosty, deep-freezing.
The top note of VV Platinum shocks me with its frostiness.
Hardcore citrus, but without the sour fruit effect of lime or the pleasant sweetness of mandarin, just "purely citrus" with a cool, distinct green tea note, VV Platinum starts off. The metallic aspect is not a marketing gimmick… it is indeed the characteristic baseline of this platinum scent, at least for a good hour: matte, shiny, clear, colorless, and exactly linear.
In colors: Alpine white with light silver and bright green-yellow stripes.

Goosebumps, shivering, chattering teeth. Wow… this scent means business. Dead serious is my first impression (and also the second). Another quince dream bursts for me.
With the heart note, a similarly straight and clear pepper emerges: It brings no spiciness or oriental souk feeling, just pepperiness.
Then, very slowly and faintly, a few little flowers timidly raise their heads. And now comes the long-awaited quince: Super beautiful, distinctly quince-like, but firmly held in the tight corset of the metallic, cold, and still present citrus.
Only after about an hour does VV Platinum change significantly. It truly puts on a completely different dress: It becomes very, very soft. A restrained sweetness gives way to a delicate floral note, and the quince can subtly resonate. Suddenly, VV Platinum smells very close to the skin and becomes a true caress on the skin. A skin scent with great, tender intimacy. In colors: very light, airy beige with light golden dots and delicate pink speckles.
Beautiful enough to fall in love with.

I still don't know what I want to do with this scent.

EDIT: I figured it out after all... and sold it (to a lovely perfume enthusiast).

Refreshing green tea with lime + a hint of coriander
HB + SG unfortunately fall short.

Not much freshness for me, instead a lot of coriander. And tickling pepper.
