Andalusian Garden
That is what is conveyed when you smell this fragrance.
But first of all, can you buy fragrances in a pharmacy? I discovered the Roger & Gallet scents today in my regular pharmacy and headed straight for them, completely forgetting that I actually wanted something for my cough.
Of course, you can buy fragrances in pharmacies; they almost have their origin there, so, back to the roots.
According to the manufacturer's description, the fragrance conveys the feeling of a magical scent journey in an Andalusian garden in the shade of orange trees and is supposed to be invigorating.
For my part, I do not feel invigorated by neroli. It puts me in a distinctly relaxed mood. I breathe deeper, no longer so hurriedly into my upper abdomen. I look around calmly and stroll through the area without haste or rush.
Neroli is clearly the boss here. And basil, which one imagines to be very green, I personally cannot detect. Perhaps it takes away the overly orangey note from the top note. But it doesn’t matter, orange with a slightly earthy undertone prevails. And how beautiful that is! The woody base notes, cedar is perfect for neroli, complement the orange grove excellently.
A great monothematic scent that shows surprising longevity for an EdC. For summer, when you have nothing special planned, it’s a lovely thing.
