In a blind swap, I managed to get a new bottle of Ahlam... I had never smelled Ahlam before, but somehow I had the feeling that I might like it based on the ingredients.... Do you know that feeling when curiosity is greater than reason?
Well, the swap was already finalized, and after what felt like an eternity of waiting, it finally arrived... Ahlam - still in its plastic wrap - shone at me... My fingers were tingling... that wonderful feeling when you can finally take a bottle out of the wrap and packaging.... I love that ;-)
Thoughts were racing: "What if I don't like it...." ---- "A blind swap with Roja fragrances can really go wrong or cost a lot...." ---- "And what if it stinks..." --- "Aah, careful with the plastic..." --- "It has rhubarb in it, I don't even like that" --- "You probably didn't look at the fragrance pyramid closely enough, did you" --- "What if it's really as sweet as someone said here...." --- "Ahlam, what does that actually mean" --- "Floral-sweet - not necessarily my type" --- "Open the box: ooooh it shines so beautifully" .....
Taken out of the beautiful golden packaging, from the velvet bed, a sweet and high-quality bottle - just like Roja...
Then the big moment: took off the pretty stone cap and sprayed a little on my wrist.....
Thoughts racing again: "There's lemon, I can recognize flowers: Ylang-Ylang and jasmine are very clear" --- "fresh and floral..." --- oh, marzipan or almond is super clear: not sticky or gooey - more fluffy and sweet... --- "Oud comes in, not stinky oud..." --- "wow, how beautiful..." --- "oh, it really is beautiful..." --- Yes, the blind swap was a good choice..." --- "mmmmh, there's a bit of powdery fluff coming..." --- "that could be sandalwood, creamy-woody-noble..." --- "Damn, there are only 30ml in the bottle..." --- "Is there a bigger size...." --- "www.Roja.com - Search: Ahlam...." --- "ooh, 100ml - - - - 295.- £..." --- "Damn..." --- "Salary just came in yesterday...." --- "Shopping cart - add...." --- "Ahww should I or shouldn't I...." --- "Order finger twitches" --- "Don't you want to use the 30ml first..." --- "Confirm..." --- "I wonder how long delivery will take..."
Yes, who among you doesn't know that...? Sometimes addiction overtakes reason, pushes it aside, and races to the finish line....
I really like Ahlam, even though it is a rather sweet oriental :-)
The bottle with the pretty stone cap, as always with Roja: top-notch
Longevity: in the upper range
Sillage: right after spraying: suuuper, but after about 15-20 minutes it diminishes a bit and Ahlam pulls back somewhat. Compared to other Rojas, it is rather "subtle"
Hahaha, I've received some DMs on my comment that you all ordered the Ahlam blindly... I guess I'm tempting you to buy it... how naughty of me :-D hihihi :-)
Right now, you can still snag a bargain on the 30 ml at Roja... I'm hooked on it too, and it's definitely coming home with me :) Nice comment, and I totally get it :))))
Hi there! Yes, that's true, but sometimes I still get that guilty feeling like, "Did I really need this?" - "You have dozens of other fragrances! Why not use those first?"
