Film Noir.
My Elysium is dead.
Drowned in the shower.
A blackberry stands guard.
The leather belt has been locked away.
Cotton is the culprit.

Nice, little thriller, sounds a bit like a bad remake of Psycho ;-)

Ah, the good old game of opinion enhancement.
I've also had the pleasure of experiencing it with a randomly praised scent.
A rascal thinks ill of it!
But that doesn't make the ruined fragrance any better.
Well...

Instead of a good film noir, probably just a bad tragicomedy... :-(

Interesting breakdown below! I didn't like the original and found it a bit bland for the price. But if it works, why not add another flanker?! Edition Blanche?!

Sounds like a total flop, especially for the price... Nice addition down there!

After my first statement was thankfully "moderated" by Parfumo, as I had used a completely unabashed expression, Antoine Cotton should please take his 🎩, here’s a second attempt:
My impression is that there’s just no connection between the perfumer and Roja. In the past, some fragrances were so complex that the pyramid needed to help break down the notes. Today, the pyramid for Roja fragrances feels like a package insert that can be easily ignored, almost like other blend pyramids that pretend to offer depth that the scent doesn’t actually achieve. The first Elysium flanker by Cotton, which is the second Elysium flanker overall, was already a disappointment - this one is pure banality.
I’m tough when it comes to shower gel scents, and if they’re well done, nothing stops me from feeling a certain sympathy.
But here’s the situation:

I agree with you on all points. I'm just afraid that the general public won't care and that this stuff will still sell.

A flanker of Elysium should meet a certain standard of quality. In my opinion, this standard is completely ignored. Blackberry and leather (which already slightly shine through in the top notes) provide a somewhat acceptable start, saving the fragrance from an absolute disaster rating, but what follows is the collapse of the entire pyramid.
Ambroxan-induced mediocrity replaces the fragrance notes. However, this mediocrity fails to deliver longevity. Sillage and longevity are also extremely poor. Honestly, I don't understand where Roja is trying to go with this. So, I stand by my opinion: the current perfumer is not a good fit, and I would be happy if the house of Roja recognizes that.
