The aura of a WC duck

I will probably get a lot of contra for this comment. However, from my point of view you have to be allowed to say something negative about high-priced perfumes (maybe especially there), even if you are in the minority opinion.
My expectations of the Roja were very high. The reviews here were just too exuberant. With a perfume for 280 EUR per 100 ml... that must deliver quasi per se.

However, after the first application I was very disappointed. The Sillage is maximum 10 cm from minute one. The smell is quite ok, but it reminds me of my WC duck when I change it. Whereby this probably radiates a more fragrant aura.

I must admit at this point that the evaluation would have been different if the fragrance was available for 50-75 EUR. However, for a perfume for EUR 280, you have to apply different standards. The money is much better off here with e.g. Creed m.E.n.

If anyone has any tips what I could do wrong I am open, I don't want to be disappointed the whole weekend ;)

On the skin it is extremely beautiful or high quality and well balanced.
In addition, it is very naturally composed of the ingredients
Which WC duck do you use? I will buy the same time the duckling!

In principle, you are not wrong about the WC duck, I also have associations like cleaning agents and the like. And yet, high-quality, noble and simply ingeniously composed. By the way, I think that skin chemistry is very important for this fragrance. On the strip it does not look the same on the strip as it does when worn on the skin. The silage also plays an important role. When the fragrance floats in the air, a completely different feeling is created than when it is smelled directly next to the skin...

I was also a little disappointed by him at the beginning, but have learned to love him. Give the scent some time and try to understand it. What you're describing here is simply the citric top note. What follows later has absolutely nothing in common with "WC Duck", in other words the beautiful berries and vetiver. I'm pretty good with that for a fresh smell. I wore it last week, there were probably 4 sprayers on my upper body including textiles. I smelled it all day at work.

Likes the Elysium very much-he makes in contrast to CK scents a development.big contra with regard to the price:Costs only 270 €, no 280€!in addition it becomes a bargain;-).would it be better if there were also 50 ml for about 150€.100 ml I would never get used up in my life...

Either a scent touches someone or not, that's the way it is :-) But H + S is really not good, especially considering the price.

Thank you for the great response. I just let the woman in my life smell me and got my impression about the Sillage confirmed. "Doesn't smell that bad" ... Tastes are different :).

Well, to each his own opinion, but don't agree with you at all about the comparison with Creed. I think there are hardly any more boring scents than those of Creed, some of which could also be 30€ designer scents by CK :-) I think the elysium is incredibly high quality and it has that certain something extra for a fresh scent. But it's interesting how different opinions can be

I understand completely! I can't (and don't want to) discuss something like that, that would be stupid, because everybody has his preferences. But within the Roja scents I find it so grotty. When I got my bottling, I thought someone wanted to sell me a Zara (or similar in price range) fragrance ...

Funny, I see the Rojas exactly the other way round, this one is very nice, the others smell like 30 Euro fragrances from Swiss Arabian and what else you can find on every corner in Abu Dhabi/Dubai...

No double, no nothing! I was also quite disappointed with the scent, especially after the exuberant reviews. In my opinion, a Zara fragrance in the price range of € 30/100 ml and a Roja is not worth it. And I am actually a Roja fanboy ;-) Very helpful comment!

It's a very nice scent, I think, but Creed has that certain something that makes the fragrances so timeless.
