Elysium pour Homme Roja Parfums 2017 Eau de Parfum

Some fragrances impress me with their power.

Elysium Parfum Cologne impresses me with the way it makes me feel.

Whenever I wear it, I can almost imagine myself as a Greek god. There is something radiant, confident and remarkably polished about its scent that immediately changes my mood.

The fragrance itself is simply beautiful. It feels fresh and uplifting, yet sophisticated enough to stand apart from the countless ordinary fresh fragrances on the market. It carries the elegance expected from Roja while remaining extremely easy to wear.

Unfortunately, its performance does not match the quality of the scent.

The longevity on my skin is far from impressive, and that remains its greatest weakness. A fragrance this good deserves to remain present for much longer.

Even so, I continue to enjoy it because the scent itself is difficult to resist. In my opinion, it deserves a place in any serious fragrance collection.

With the exception of Elysium pour Homme Parfum, I consider this the best interpretation of the Elysium DNA.

Its performance may leave me wanting more.

The way it smells does not.

This is my Roja Parfums Elysium Review. My Elysium Pour Homme by Roja Parfums Fragrance Review. This was an unexpected delight of a fragrance from Roja Parfums. Not typically the style of fragrance I would expect from this luxury niche brand, Roja Parfum but it really works. What we have here with Roja Parfums Elysium Pour Homme Parfum Cologne is a crowd pleaser and a compliment getter. This is an ultra classy, masculine fragrance and very easy to wear but still very complex with lots of great notes. It's a very modern fougere. This is pretty much the definition of a perfect everyday wear for me.

The one you use for everything and anything, resting assured it will work wonders.

This could be just another blue fragrance in this current “blue craze”, but it’s not.

The vetiver plays a major role here for me, and I’m glad it does! What a great vetiver it is!

The way the florals dance with the citrus while it develops, even hinting sometimes at a slight smoky/leathery nuance is just fantastic.

Mass pleasing and easy to wear? For sure!
Boring? No. Not to me.

And I don’t just say this.
The first time I sampled this in Budapest at freezing point temperatures, I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist. Now tried and tested in all seasons and occasions, with a full bottle in hands, I can happily say it was my most used fragrance in 2022, and one of the most special (Wore it even to the Wedding of a loved one)

Bottled Class and Versatility.

Elysium has been plastered all over the YT fragrance community for a while now.
I finally decided to order a sample/decant and see what all the hype was about.

I'm not a scent guru but I tend to give fragrances a few wearings just to see if I truly like them or if there any good, so I did the same with this.

Smell:
A fresh and clean but slightly fruity scent.

Conclusion:
If you hid the bottle behind your back then held out your wrist and said “Smell this” I would reply to you and say “Is this a new Bath and Body Works scent..?”

Elysium may be great to others but to me, this is nothing special. If you are looking for something simple, easy to wear, and non-offensive then this is for you.

Honestly, it's very linear & the price is not justified for the scent that you get, overhyped. Pay half the price and get a clone of this fragrance instead.

(P.s. I didn't know people actually get offended by someone's opinion about some juice in a bottle called a fragrance.)

First and foremost, this smell is incredible. The opening of Elysium is one of the nicest I've ever smelled, and overall, it's the most complex fragrance I've ever smelled. There are various phases to the dry down, and each one grows more seductive as it progresses. Do you want compliments? Then I recommend wearing it almost anywhere and you will get them. This is a well-balanced fresh/green aroma that is appropriate for any occasion. People WANT to be around this scent, and when they complement you, it's not simply because they smell your cologne; they complement you because this cologne is sophisticated and smells amazing. Grab a sample and you'll see why some believe it's superior to the king of niche scents.
