Roja Elysium Parfum Cologne - this is how I want to smell
My debut work…
I have always been interested in fragrances and recently started to really engage with them - also through the forum. So, you are to blame for my collection growing significantly in a short time :-)
As I began my fragrance journey, I quickly came across the "Elysium Parfum Cologne (Eau de Parfum) | Roja Parfums" through research here on Parfumo and immediately got a small sample.
Once the sample arrived, I started to "immerse" myself in it. And what can I say: it was love at first sniff. This is exactly how I want to smell.
The fragrance initially presents fresh top and heart notes with a hint of citrus (grapefruit, lemon), berry notes (currant, apple), and has something slightly woody (probably from cedarwood). Nothing is dominant or shouts at you. Everything is in harmony and wonderfully balanced. The scent always feels elegant and well-rounded.
Later, the woody base becomes more pronounced, developing into a wonderful base note. This continues to carry berry and citrus characteristics, but cedarwood, vetiver, musk, and a certain spiciness (possibly from pepper?) clearly come into play and contribute robustly.
A truly perfect fragrance, which I have already been complimented on multiple times.
The sillage is of course not overwhelming but quite good on my skin.
Is it worth the very high price? I think so. And to be honest: for such a fantastic fragrance, for which there is - at least in my opinion - nothing comparable, it has to be worth it. It definitely is for me… It might sound a bit strange now, but you can almost smell the high price.
In this sense:
Thank you very much for your attention - I have the honor,
your Pfleddinho
