Unique in its own way, and that is meant positively!

Incense Wood is a really well-made fragrance. You can feel that from the very first second.
However, I believe it is not for everyone.
It is quite unique in its character.
This is not meant negatively at all, quite the opposite.
Nevertheless, I think it is not made for every nose, but that is what niche fragrances are actually about.

The scent starts off spicy, but here it has a slight freshness supported by the bergamot used.
Otherwise, I perceive a well-crafted cinnamon-clove mix, along with the cardamom, of course.

Over time, it gains more resinous impressions.
Furthermore, now some subtly pleasant smoky notes come through. The incense is now active, but never too strong. The name Incense translates to Weihrauch, and thus the fragrance somewhat lives up to its name.
However, it is never really an incense scent, as it is one of several notes and not the "one" that crystallizes out.

Additionally, the fragrance gains slightly earthy elements from the patchouli. But it is really still pleasantly executed!

A creamy sandalwood then gradually comes through as well, and overall it becomes sweeter alongside the resinous component.
The whole thing is still enveloped by this veil of incense.

All in all, a really great fragrance. It doesn't quite hit my personal taste, but I still have to give it an 8 regarding the DNA.
