His own way and that is meant positively!
Incense Wood is a really well-made fragrance. You can feel it from the very first second.
However, I don't think it's everyone's cup of tea.
It's already peculiar in its own way.
That's not meant in a negative way at all, quite the opposite.
Nevertheless, I don't think it's made for every nose, but that's what niche fragrances are all about.
The fragrance starts directly spicy, but still has a slight freshness supported by the bergamot used.
Otherwise, for me, a rather well-made cinnamon-clove mix comes through, as well as the cardamom, of course.
Over time, it gains more and more resinous impressions.
Furthermore, discreetly pleasant smoky impressions now also come through. The incense is now active, but never too strong. The name Incense means incense and so the fragrance lives up to its name a little here.
However, it is never really an incense fragrance, as it is one of several notes and not the "one" that crystallizes.
In addition, the fragrance gains slightly earthy elements through the patchouli. But it is still really pleasantly implemented!
A creamy sandalwood then continues to assert itself bit by bit and it generally becomes sweeter again alongside the resinous component
But the whole thing is still ensnared by this veil of incense.
All in all, a really great fragrance. It doesn't quite meet my personal taste, but I still have to give it an 8 in terms of DNA.
