Behind the Italian niche house is Andrea Bissoli Rubini, whose family opened a perfumery in Verona in the 1930s - a legacy that still forms the basis of his work today. Andrea not only wants to preserve this tradition, but also to continue it with creative fragrance concepts that combine past and present. He draws his inspiration from family history, Verona's cultural heritage, personal memories and special impressions.
The house's first perfume, "Fundamental" (2015), is a tribute to the beginnings - to the small family perfumery and the olfactory memories of it: beeswax, leather, iris, white grapes. The composition was created in close collaboration with perfumer Cristiano Canali and designer Francesca Gotti, who also developed the packaging concept. The materials used included Glebanite®, a recycled industrial material that was originally used for satellite dishes.
This was followed by further creations that remain true to Rubini's narrative approach: "Nuvolari" (2021), named after the racing legend of the same name, translates speed, asphalt and engine heat into a powerful composition of leather, rum, vetiver and black pepper. "Odenaturae" (2023), on the other hand, is an airy, green fragrance inspired by Mediterranean nature, wild herbs, tomato leaf and immortelle, reminiscent of rural Italy.
