Face to Face with Blue Iris
Somehow, this reminds me of a song from the "New German Wave"... The band was called "Ideal" and the song's refrain was: "Your blue eyes make me so sentimental! When you look at me like that, everything else doesn't matter! Such blue eyes...."
This scent has that kind of "vibe." All in all... the "heart" of the fragrance. Lavender + Iris = cool blue. Ice blue, blue lilac, royal blue, sky blue. IRIS BLUE! Blue powder.
Framed by other "colors" that lie above and below this blue. Warm orange! Vanilla beige and light wood brown. Yet from all of this, the blue eyes emerge. They watch over it. They connect with the spice of cardamom and the bitterness of cedarwood. They look awake and a bit mischievous. Then again, slightly melancholic. They subtly change the mood. They gaze through damp autumn fog and the heat of summer. They let lavender fields come into view.
And cool forest patches.

I really like the scent of lavender. But as a perfume...
