Miranda S. - Esse Strikes The Notes 2018

It feels like you travelled in San Francisco and on the sunny day you stopped by the Ghirardelli Plaza by their Chocolate shop to try their amazing vanilla ice cream with heavy chocolate bar filled with liquor. Vanilla gives amazing sweetness to dark chocolate, and you can literally feel the sugar grains on the tip of your tongue. Even after you leave their ice cream and every chocolate lover's heaven, you bring with you bag of assorted chocolate mini bars as a memorabilia. It is very musky, light rose & vanilla's goodness. Star anise is not very strong. I see lot's of similarities with Mancera's "Rose Vanille" EDP. Miranda's downside is very short longevity and light sillage. It is perfect to wear in Fall & Winter, but I can't see myself buying it full bottle. I prefer dark chocolate with hints of real liqueur over boozy perfume. Little soapy, cleanness similarities with Serge Luten's "L'orphaline", but without fluffy cashmere feelings to it. It is interesting to try, but after an hour it is all gone...
