Beautiful, creamy vanilla, white floral.
This is a beautiful scent. I believe that it is not unlike Balenciaga Cristobal. Cristobal has a little spicier edge, and also is warmer, and a tad more opulent. The dry-down is where the resemblance is most noticeable.

I find La Femme to be a lovely, creamy white floral, that hints of sunkissed neroli. The vanilla is not too sweet, and is just enough to marry every note.

Basic Cake
La Femme is like the recipe for a good pound cake: No decorated cake, no sheet cake with fruits, no elaborate bundt cake with chocolate glaze. Yes, La Femme is not earth-shattering and could easily go unnoticed. But sometimes you don’t feel like glamorous cakes. You want a simple, yet delicious cake that grandma used to make. One where you can really taste the butter and the eggs. La Femme is exactly that.

Or, to pick up on Turandot's comment:

Is La Femme the "perfect" perfume? "Perfect" is a scent, I suppose, when you don’t allow any other perfume and only want to wear that one fragrance. That is not the case here; I still enjoy wearing other scents just as I still enjoy eating other cakes.

Does the fragrance have "personality"? Are there edges and corners, something that stands out? Up to the heart notes, I can clearly smell the jasmine, but it’s not a jasmine bomb either. After that, you are greeted with a typically oriental base of sandalwood and vanilla. La Femme has a strong aroma, but the scent probably wouldn’t win any awards. But do I expect to receive enthusiastic applause at the fancy cake party with grandma's recipe?

Is the scent expressive? Well, not really, but I think it at least clearly and distinctly calls its name: "La Femme"! I wouldn’t want to deter any man from trying this fragrance, but I find it very feminine.
Behind this cake, there was definitely a woman at the oven, and you can tell. Not that men can’t bake (or male perfumers can’t create magic). But the cake would definitely taste different if grandpa tried his hand at it.

In conclusion, I can only say that I appreciate both good perfume and good cake very much, and La Femme would surely do well in many households.

Well...
...no one needs to embark on a desperate search for this scent. It doesn't appeal to me, it doesn't repel me, it ignites no emotions, it's not even typically mainstream, otherwise it would have a citrus-fresh top note. La Femme is floral-powdery and that's all there is to it.

I could even imagine that there are users who would call La Femme perfect, but this perfume lacks a theme, personality, and character for me.
When you read the pyramid, you know how the perfume smells. However, there are perfumers who have created more expressive scents with even fewer ingredients. It seems to me that Celine Martin has created an elegant heart note, but forgotten the head and base.

Sour, fruity, floral, fresh, and clean.
The jasmine note comes through, but it's more of a light jasmine.

Is there a fabric softener that smells like this? I’d love that: floral, fresh, clean!
