a hunch, a whiff ...
of the secrets of women, of roses.
This is exactly what "Lady Marian", the wonderful rose fragrance created by Salux Perfumer in St. Louis, Missouri, probably as early as 1910, according to the little information available, describes quite accurately.

For years, I bought rose water from an acquaintance who offered and accompanied her "rose trips" to Bulgaria during the rose blossom season and first offered this rose water and other products produced there in a pharmacy and later in person.
I loved it dearly and used nothing else at times (much to the delight of my boss, who was very sensitive to the smell).
Now, unfortunately, the contact has fallen asleep and with it my supply of rose water; I never found a replacement for it.

And now I meet "Lady Marian", this delicate and yet so present floral scent of ripe and yet somewhat sleepy roses that have just blossomed.
Even a small spritz exudes this hint of femininity.
The first rays of sunshine tenderly touch the newly awakened rose petals and so "Lady Marian" also touches the skin and soul - without any fuss or fuss!
Not much else was used here other than roses, roses and more roses.
Perhaps a little private secret of creation, a bit of feminine sophistication, graceful cheerfulness and a warm, tender smile.

Of course, this charming fragrance lady does not have a very great longevity; that would destroy its charm, its butterfly-like lightness.

"Lady Marian" is much more than the fleeting breath of roses, the breath of a moment:
Here we find the fragrant memory of a time long gone, which we still long for in our dreams from time to time.

Let's continue dreaming with "Lady Marian" in our rose blossom!
