Hyacinth Sangado

The Scent in the Flower Shop
A very similar title was already chosen by DonJuanDeCat for the hyacinth scent from Yardley... And indeed, the two perfumes are not so dissimilar. But let's start from the beginning...
This scent aura in a flower shop is probably familiar to almost everyone. It is a heavy, but not really sweet fragrance - thanks to the many cut green stems. I find this scent almost enchanting, but that is certainly a matter of taste.
Also, the hyacinth bulbs in pots that are now available again in stores, whose buds then bloom at home and release their intense fragrance, are surely known to most.
In perfumes (e.g. in “Margaretha Ley” or “Jacinthe et Rose”, somewhat milder in “Bas de Soie”), the hyacinth sometimes comes across as a bit “scratchy-stinging”, although I don't mean that as negatively as it sounds - I actually find this note quite charming. In other perfumes, it shows itself more from its “green” side, for example in the aforementioned hyacinth scent from Yardley or also in “Blue Hyacinth” by Malone, and especially, almost herbaceous in “Bluebell” by Penhaligon’s. The hyacinth from Sangado lies somewhere in between, a bit sweeter than “Bluebell”, heavier than the hyacinths from Yardley and Malone, and greener and more naturalistic than those from Escada, Coudray, and Lutens. Thus, the hyacinth from Sangado captures the scent aura in the flower shop, in my view, the best!
The longevity on fabric (where I initially tested it) is truly impressive! It also holds up quite well on my skin.
A few words about the brand Sangado: I stumbled upon it by chance while searching online for another hyacinth scent. Apparently, the company primarily produces dupes - as almost all of them are at least compared to a well-known branded perfume. However, with "Hyacinth," this is not the case - I wouldn't know which perfume it should resemble. There is certainly some similarity to the aforementioned perfumes, simply due to the strong hyacinth note, but it is really not a twin!
